01 / FROM ROLL TO FILE
FILM PROCESSING
& SCANS
For your exposed, undeveloped roll of film. We'll develop the film and then digitize the images. You'll receive the photos as digital image files.
C-41 is the process for color negative film, black-and-white for black-and-white negative film, and E-6 for slide film. M and XL indicate the size of the scan files.

Your film roll will be developed and digitized. You’ll also receive a print of each photo in 10 × 15 cm format.
For 35mm film, the complete package costs €10.00 more than processing and scans alone. The prices below include processing, scans and 10 × 15 cm prints of every frame.

HALF-FRAME FILM
Half-frame film produces twice as many images. The total print surcharge is €20.00 per roll instead of €10.00, on top of processing and scans. The difference from the standard print package is charged after processing.
03 / DIGITIZING NEGATIVES
SCAN ONLY
IMPORTANT: Your negatives must already be developed.
Already have developed negatives and need digital images? We scan them as TIFF files. Film processing is not included in this service.
Applies to C-41, black-and-white, and E-6. Please send films uncut. For cut negatives, select the “cut” option in the shop.
BOOK SCAN ONLY ↗04 / FROM FILM TO NEGATIVE
PROCESSING ONLY
We'll develop your exposed roll of film. You'll receive developed negatives—no digital scans and no prints. Perfect if you want to scan or enlarge the images yourself.
C-41 standard process. We develop black-and-white film using a process tailored to each roll. Choose in the shop what you'd like us to do with your negatives afterward.

SCAN M OR XL?
M and XL are digital scan sizes, not paper sizes. M is suitable for viewing, sharing, and smaller prints. XL provides more pixels and more flexibility for cropping and larger prints.
35 mm refers to 35mm film. 120 stands for roll film for medium-format cameras; here, we offer only XL.
M: 2,000 × 3,000 pixels
XL: 4,420 × 6,630 pixels
XL: 4,700 × 5,500 pixels
Specifications based on the 6 × 7 cm format.

CONTACT SHEETS
A digital contact sheet shows you all the images from your roll of film in one place—including the film borders. It's handy for reviewing, comparing, and selecting your favorites.

AN OVERVIEW.
You can add our digital contact sheets as an option when ordering development and scanning.
You'll receive a digital overview of your roll of film. You can still choose between M and XL for single-frame scans; contact sheets are not paper prints.

HANDPRINTS
Real photographic paper. A real darkroom. Colour prints hand-enlarged from your colour negatives and developed using the RA-4 process.

07 / AFTER DEVELOPMENT

NEGATIVES & PRINTS
Your negatives are your original film. When ordering online, choose collection at the lab, return shipping or disposal.
COLLECT AT THE LAB

Collect your negatives and prints from our lab at Humboldtstraße 128. Select collection when placing your order in our online shop.
RETURN SHIPPING

Within Germany, we'll send your negatives back via Deutsche Post.
For Austria, other EU countries, and Switzerland, the shipping price displayed at checkout applies.
WASTE DISPOSAL
UPON REQUEST
If you do not want your negatives returned, select disposal when ordering online.
If you want to have them scanned or enlarged again later, keep your negatives.
